The only way to get a really good job is a hot blue, though I have heard that other is still as good as the day I did ....
I have tried I never did it.
Cold blue's are better than the Birchwood Casey stuff which I wouldn't recommend.

I found the phillips ....
Had much success with cold blue treatments however I would say that 1200 grit is still too coarse with the Autosol I wouldn't use the autosol prior to blueing due to its chemical make up the blue wont take .
