I own a 2011 328i with the steptronic automatic transmission. I'm wondering what a reasonable maintenance schedule is for this car. I'm not buying the 'lifetime" auto trans fluid line - it is coming from the same people who are in the business of selling...

You have to take dowm the pan and....
It's not like an oil change.most transmissions do not have a drain plug.

There is also a filter that can be cleaned or changed.

I've had the car about six months now, got it with three green service lights on. I've done about 6k and I've just gone to one green light. Obviously I don't know how far through the 3rd light interval it was when I got it, but I think I got just short...

So i need to buy parts for my 95 M3. Went on pelicans and couldnt find lower ball joints for my car. They have the part for the 328 model but not my model. I also need two "sway bar linkage" parts. Not even sure if that is the correct name for the part...
