Who all in here hunts boar? I'm trying to pick up hunting and would like to know what type of rifle to consider. Not sure if I'm going to do deer hunting yet either. I've been looking at marlin 30 30 or possibly the 444. Any recommendations?

I have learned that any boar, not sow, over 200 lbs, but if it's a HUGE....
Sufficient for wild boar; when I used to go boar hunting with my dad & brother, I used a S&W Model 29% of the time I use a bow, but have shot them with a rifle.

My brother shot this boar the other afternoon at last camera light. Only went 60 yards but through the thickest stuff. Low light video I had to add brightness to the video footage to use it. Hope you like it.
