Simple facts:
1) I had bilateral PFR about 5 and a half years ago
2) My right knee has had some problems over the past 3 years
3) Last week I did something to my right knee at work
4) Since then the pain has gotten worse
5) I am experiencing sharp pain...

When I bend my leg back and move it forward the knee catches students were freaked....
Except now my knee is making more cracking noises, I can feel the catching what I call the double crack and pop.

What are some common squat knee injuries? The only I have heard people mention frequently is "meniscus tear."
I believe I have injured both of my knees from squatting. I don't think it falls as a meniscus tear though.
I have no pain when fully extending...

I think it might be due to result of a collateral to the side of my right knee....
There are no positions that make my knee or knee pain that rules out any nerve involvement.
Any grinding, locking, catching or giving way of the knee.
