Boiled Peanuts
I assume you cook them for 24 hours on low? Also, you say you used regular peanuts...just the regular salted/unsalted roasted peanuts that you would get at say the ballpark?

Boiled peanuts are made with raw, "green" peanuts, not roasted ones.

1 Cup of Crab Boil per 5 Lbs of Peanuts....
1 Bag of Crab Boil....
Water to cover
Boil/Simmer (covered) until peanuts are almost done....I like them slightly al dente. ~~Time will depend of size and maturity...

Love these things! Driving home from the store I thought these would be a good reason to buy foam board and try a product shot. I used a soft box and a birthday card standing on its end to get just a bit of fill from the left. Enjoy!
