So you're saying that the water/coolant is boiling just by turning the car on and not stepping on the accelerator your engine bay? sorry the water is boiling....

IMHO I don't think boiling is worth it as you need to do it maybe mind investing the time, why not....

I agree with Jim.
Put the ingots in a cold pot and then fire it .
I always use this with unknown lead.
The pan keeps most of it in the pot if it happens .
I have had the same thing happen to me.
I have a small pan that fits over my pot .
