Hi,
I have '96 Seville with some threads for the cylinder head bolts gone bad.
I was wondering, what can be done. Can I use bigger bolts (m12x1.5) instead?
Is so, where can I find these?
Or, there is any other solution?
Thanks,

The upper....
If you use inserts.
The new bolts (m12x1.5)? Because the larger bolt won't fit through the holes in the heads.
Addresses a weak point in your original cylinder head bolts: fine threads into aluminum.

Make sure you replace all head bolts going back together.
Then the only thing to do is drill them out .

You Will Need
- Torque Wrench
- T55 Torx socket bit (long and sturdy)
Before you start
Wind all ten bolts in by hand then out again, this makes sure there's no dirt in the threads. Then if you've got grease with the head bolts, apply some of that to the...

Using a jig on the cylinder studs and I don't think you need one there plus I don't think the jigs the way through to the gap in the head below the plug, but the existing stud doesnt.

I fixed the head gasket on my 1999 Buick Century last year but now it's not sealing properly. Either I didn't clean it good enough or it was warped. The head bolts were also replaced.
I'm going to fix it again. Last time, I used Fel-Pro PermaDry but this...

I was told that using an old head bolt was enough.
Also replace the head bolts again, as those are torque if you don't have one.
Also it you are having coolant leakage.
