The reason that it looks like Application.Run() is throwing the exception is because you don't have any other try/catches in the... .
The code you posted above looks fine (although you shouldn't need to use BeginInvoke() in the ProgressChanged event hander) .

I've been making bath bombs, but the recipe I use has so much stuff in it, that it makes it more of a PITA than what it's really worth in the end. I mean, they're AWESOME in the tub, but for as much as they sell, it isn't worth it to make bombs anymore...
