Has there been any announcement on the status of the translation of these books. I know it has been several years since any were released in English, but has Seven Seas ever made any statements clarifying whether they ever have plans to release any more...

It's a shame, Boogiepop at Dawn was great.
OR it's dead here because there are no more books coming out .
Boogiepop at Dawn (the origin story) was the last book we put out.

^very good show. I also recommend Boogiepop Phantom and Serial Experiments Lain if you like that type of anime.

I remember really enjoying the series Visions of Escaflone.
Never became a big anime fan, but there were some things i liked .
'nother great show that doesn't get enough love.
I'd recommend it.
