Stephen King Readers-What's Your Favorite?
I did a search for this and surprisingly nothing came back. Anyhow, I love Stephen King! I wanted to see what everyone's favorite/ least favorite and generally discuss the books.

Please can someone suggest the best Stephen King book, I watched my first film by him lastnight and it was fantastic (cats eye) and now I would like to find a book by him... any suggestions would be great, thank you!

Well...I can thoroughly recommend the following:
Misery - This is the first SK book I read chilling book I have ....
The 'bad guys' as it were, are zombies with attitude! Brilliant .
By Stephen King is brilliant.

I liked the TommyKnockers the most. SCIENCE!
but I have to give props to IT for scaring me so bad I had to put it in the fridge

My favorite SK book is 'Salem's Lot. Love it and the way it makes me want to believe in vampires. I'm reading it now, and writing about it on my blog.

I mentioned on another thread about how I found his novels tend to be incomplete, with endings that seem more open-ended than all issues rounded completed.
Yet his characters are fairly engaging - even if they do tend to be early middle-age Bob Dylan ...
