Wondering why this hasn't occurred to me even though I like to keep my bookmarks organised, I think that when I look in the bookmark folders for a bookmark and can't find it, I use the organise ....

It should....
If you remember some words of the bookmark you are looking for, just type them in the URL place.
Ctrl-B will open your bookmarks of Awesome Bar in Firefox.
Or use keyboard up/down+enter to select the bookmark you want.

Well, I'd suggest the easiest thing to do would be to export them all the Export / Download Your Delicious Bookmarks page for further analysis?.

Is that the precise spelling and capitalization of the label you've tagged your bookmarks with? I've just had a quick play and my bookmarks only appear on the toolbar if the label is spelled precisely the same.

So the problem is that i would prefer my bookmarks in the bookmarks toolbar to load into a new tab. But I can't seem to locate that option anywhere. Is this possible?

Or, if you really want a normal click to open bookmarks in a new tab, you can install the Tab Mix Plus extension and enable Opening tab In the Open tabs from: section....
Middle-click or control-click on the bookmarks to open them in a new tab.

I have a macbook pro 13" that I got just last week and iv noticed that I can't rightclick bookmarks in the bookmarks toolbar or the bookmarks menu. Doing so in the bookmarks organizer works just fine and the same goes for every other app on my system....

Apparently, latest Firefox versions stores its bookmarks in a file called 'places.sqlite'. Like a browser can import the bookmarks from another browser, I would want to import the bookmarks to a file, but I need to know what would you need to do it?

I use it to keep my bookmarks and cached passwords on Firefox on several computers designed for a Python bookmarks....
The SyncPlaces Firefox extension, some kind of successor of the old Bookmarks Synchronizer which is no longer maintained.

In chrome you can replace the names of bookmarks in the toolbar with their favicon. Is it possible to do the same thing in Firefox? I want all my bookmarks to just display the favicon in order to save space.

There is an add-on that does this, "Smart Bookmarks Bar":
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US to deleting the descriptions/labels is that ....
You can fairly simply just delete the text from the bookmark, which leaves it with only the Favicon.
