I have a user base that is forced to use IE 7. I have created a web site that will be getting a new URL. Is there a way to force a bookmark to update to point to the new URL when a user hits the old site via a bookmark in IE?

And yes, the android browser my be its own entity, but it's still and upgrade to 3.1 no bookmark sync.
Updating, my bookmarks will not sync.

Apparently, latest Firefox versions stores its bookmarks in a file called 'places.sqlite'. Like a browser can import the bookmarks from another browser, I would want to import the bookmarks to a file, but I need to know what would you need to do it?

I use it to keep my bookmarks and cached passwords on Firefox on several computers designed for a Python bookmarks....
The SyncPlaces Firefox extension, some kind of successor of the old Bookmarks Synchronizer which is no longer maintained.

My phone's browser bookmarks disappeared after a factory phone reset. Can I retrieve them? (I guess I should write them down or not have had soany.)
I have since saved some bookmarks, mainly Google help.

So if I'm remembering correctly, resetting your Stratosphere should remove your bookmarks without possibility of retrieval or two in the Android....
But if memory serves browser sync of bookmarks wasn't introduced until Android 3.0.

Firefox, and other browsers, allow you to add bookmark rss feeds (live bookmarks). Is there a way to create a communal feed (via a wiki, for example) which users can add bookmarks to. Seems like this would be handy for a group of users who regular visit...

I have a macbook pro 13" that I got just last week and iv noticed that I can't rightclick bookmarks in the bookmarks toolbar or the bookmarks menu. Doing so in the bookmarks organizer works just fine and the same goes for every other app on my system....
