Are the current ebook readers good enough for reading programming books (containing diagrams, source-code, screenshots, and so on)? How good are the search functions or the possibilities to set bookmarks, to use a book as a reference?

I use Mobipocket Reader on my Blackberry....
Really hoping its hackable enough to do so if it doesn't out of the box .
I think it reads E-books.

In your opinion, between eBooks and ordinary books which is better to read?
I have two conclusions myself:
eBook is easier to get. A disadvantage for me is that after working all day it's a bit hard to read from the monitor again. Also when I am reading...

Two questions:
1) Is it possible to list the ebooks by language? I am interested in finding books in French. (Note it is possible to do over at Amazon, although it was not at all obvious figuring out how to do so).

Since I was young, I have always liked to physically own the books. Sometimes I also write notes on the pages of my books, as I study literature even though I have never been a literature student in school lol.
However, these books are becoming expensive...

Why is it so long? Why is the audio quality so poor? Why does the title say 9 reasons but the video only covers three? And most importantly, why does the indie publishing scenario cut out any mention of proofing, editing, layout, cover art, etc that good... .

I found this publisher on another site and they are inviting everyone to submit books to them. Previously they only printed ebooks for the public and books in print were reserved for the Pike family. Now they are doing both. Has anyone heard of them? ...

OH, and $139 HD and a 2nd generation Kindle, and the story HD is much better .
I have the kindle, and I really like it, no matter what kind of book you re reading.

A little while ago there was a controversy when the Kindle had the feature to read books out loud. I believe this feature has been removed.
Does any other eBook reader have this feature? I regularly drive for four hours in a day and would love to be able...
