Ankle boots or knee high boots?
I like either knee-high boots or the ones that come up half way. Ankle boots are OK but I prefer the other two I just mentioned.

Boots or boot blankets?
I have a problem with poor circulation in my feet and will even get cold feet when temps are in the 40's. I have some 800 gram Thinsulate Irish Setter boots that just aren't warm enough. Looking for opinions on whether I should get some new boots, say 1,600 to 2,000 gram, or if something like boot blankets would work.

Have you started to purchase any tall boots, ankle boots, or shooties yet?
So far, I've purchase one pair of tall black boots and 1 pair of snakeprint shooties. I have my eye on another pair of tall boots in brown and 3 pair of shooties. I also need to replace my brown ankle boots but haven't seen anything just yet. I'm finding some great deals and prices out there. Plus, I like to get a jump on the season before things start to get limited.

How to prepare for USMC boot camp?
Just worry about the Initial Strength Test to start. Work on your pull-ups, chin-ups, crunches, sit-ups, and run time as said, though you should only need to worry about 2 miles tops to start since by the end you'll be running without too much trouble if you push yourself. Definitely do push-ups, mountain climbers, and bodyweight squats too, those will help.

What is your boot time of your Mac?
Whether you want to leave your computer sleeping or switched off can depend on your power setup. I like to turn my whole surge-protector power strip off so that my speakers and projector are fully powered down also.
Plus I think most people here are simply concerned that an unusually long startup might indicate an overall system problem. If your machine takes three times as long to start as everyone else's, what else might be unusual about it?
