The job was over 600 dollars and he said "dont worry him replace my CV boots and....
DO NOT GO THERE I had him replace my CV boots and found he used zip ties to secure my boots intead of metal ring clamps.
Autotrend is shady business.

Is with the vest + belt + boots and no pants? To be honest, I would much rather forgo yet another belt....or yet another pair of boots, for a pair of trousers.

Then, you can pull one of the boots back on the plug wires, and hold the wire back from the plug an 1/8.
A mechanic friend of mine has told be about boots that wrap around and then get superglued to close, then clamp as normal. Take a fraction of the time to fit as the the CV stays in situ. Anyone used? My local Motor Factor has them and they are available...

Much less time and will need replacing with a normal boot at some stage, might aswell get it done will have a look at it, this is a pic my offending boot....clue was the grease which was sprayed out.
