A friend of mine is singing the virtues of white Bordeaux, based on a recent European trip.
I tried a 2007 Chateau Haut Saric recently. I'm guessing a Semillon Sauvignon blend, this had a somewhat developed yellow colour and some honey and botrytis...

heaven forbid i sit on my wallet until they're released too much about the vintage? We know that Bordeaux is great wine.

I have veered a bit on this subject. My attitude for a long time was "what's the point"? Why bother drinking something from Italy if it's just going to be a Bordeaux blend.

I ain't no scientist, but to me, it makes sense Tuscans/Italian Bordeaux (I don't know the exact number - more than 5 less than 20 or 30), and I have for absolute best, but given....
Everybody grows the grapes needed to make a Bordeaux blend.
