If i was to connect an AUX chord from a portable FM radio, into a Bose iPod dock, would the Bose play radio? And I know streaming through iPhone would be possible when connected on the Bose dock, but wouldn't it cost a fortune?

The "auto-tone" or "equalizer" presets are different between BOSE and non-BOSE....
The non-BOSE only have 4 door speakers, no dash speakers.
Some things i know of:
The BOSE system has six speakers: 1 in each door and 2 in the dash.

My Bose amp is rattling like crazy, and there is nothing on or in the amp. I am pretty sure it is blown. What I want to do is go to Walmart and pick up a small 8in Sony Sub, but I don't want to have to wire in a new amp. Is there any way I could power...

Id assume the bose sub falls....
The OHM rating's on the factory bose speakers arent the normal ones either.
Or upgrade it.
Most likely blow any sub you powered off the old Bose sub amp due to the specific eq's and it's only doesnt want.

Bose L1 compact at $899 @ sweet water. I know a bunch of frequenters here are Bose aficionados and they rarely see price drops.

The only description I can find is "Bose® Centerpoint off the BOSE....
The front door speaker grills say 'Bose' on them so I assume I have the Bose system, or explanation of the stereo system components.
But, it sounded great.

I have an 07 (NNBS) Sierra SLT with Bose. I'm wondering if all Bose speaker packages came with a sub. It really doesn't sound like I have one in my truck. I've had other GM vehicles (TBSS, Yukon, Escalade EXT) all with Bose and it sounded like a sub was...

If you really want to know if your Bose has a sub...look under the center console.
Anyone? I would start with checking fuses...you may have blown a fuse to the Bose amp.

But, my pc audio sounds better.
It's OK for a stock system.
Only thing i would add would be a lil more bass to the stock 9", but other than that, gets plenty loud (for me at least) .
I enjoy it, as a stock system, it works quite well for what i need .
