In fact I prefer a older two cam bow with smooth cams....
Worked great! Throw on a reel and rest and go shoot some carp! IMO no need for a new bow for bowfishing.
First bow for fishing was a $60.00 whitetail compound pawn shop special.

I have never known anyone who has pulled the bow eye out between a Chevy/Gmc engine and a ford....
Re: Problem getting bow up to bow stop I assume you haven't had this boat off the trailer before type of material that will not stretch.

Bow roller sits under bow eye, is this right? Bought this Alumacraft phantom last fall and the bow eye hook is mounted pretty high. This looks like a factory installation. Anyway my bow roller sits under it and the winch strap over it. It makes it difficult...

Loosen the winch U bolts and move it up till the bow roller is just under the bow hurt anything.
Re: Bow roller sits under bow eye, is this right? If it were not factory you would have more holes in the bow stem.

Is there by chance a bow case that anyone recommends that can store a 70" bow with limbs intact (just not strung)?
I figure that most people if they're already un-stringing their bow, might as well also detach the limbs as well...
but I was just wondering...

Best....
Thanks! I can fit my 25" Hoyt Eclipse w/medium T-Rex limbs for it...looks like it's not available at LAS .
Won't stay put when the bow isn't strung; I know that mine would likely get scratched up a photo of the inter-looped bow string.

Another pondering question
whilst at my club the other day. a fellow archer said to me . you shoot well but if you got yourself a Black Widow Longbow you would shoot better ... another had said if you shoot a 1300 Fita he would buy me a Black Widow .....

*Traces of sarcasm....
I have seen archers make bows too, so it's obvious that the archer makes the bow and the bow makes the archer.
Everyone knows that.
Of course, if I had the bow of the world champion, I'd shoot as good as him.
