Can someone help me understand why the cheapest bowling shoes are so expensive? They are made of plastic and don't look to have that much support. So whats up with that? I have a grandson that is eight and to get new shoes for him often would be expensive...

Basically....
bowl[dot]com, Bowlingball[dot]com, and bowler x[dot]com all have free shipping and kids shoes bowl on a regular basis I am wondering if I should get left handed only or shoes that go both ways outside of the center.

I just can't imagine what a fabric sole is, and why a wire brush would flake it. Guess I have to go to a Pro Shop and look for this.
It sounds like it is the shoe , and not you. If you suspect the sole got wet somehow, take a hair dryer to it and brush...

If that last picture is of the hand hand stretched as far as you can go, than your span is definitely too long. Unfortunately too many drillers can't or won't fit a bowler correctly, often times with stretched spans. I'm lucky, as there are at least two...

Do not wish to purchase ballroom type shoes, I would go with a street shoe that is comfortable were a cheap pair of bowling shoes! Leather soles on both feet.
