Unfortunately if you want sharp brakes, there is a cost involved.
Upgrade calipers
I have recently done all three and the brakes are so much better than before as it's related to hoses and fluid.

Get disk brakes.
They are liter and easier to set up and don't rub all the time .
I would rather have good V brakes then cheap disk brakes.
V brakes are a lot better then the old side pull brakes.

Almost like as the breaks heated up with the constant friction the brakes were binding more so that the brakes had binded slightly after it was parked up for a couple of days.

My 1977 633CSi has brake issues. Every time I bleed them within a day of a hard drive it takes 10 pumps to get the brake peddle to stiffen up. I'm pretty sure I have a leak somewhere. Is there any particular area these e12 6'ers leak brake wise? At 35...

One for clutch hard to fire wall and one for brakes.
