I knew I was getting close to needing brakes, but I realized yesterday just how badly. Now the truck is parked until after payday when I can get some new ones.
I normally use Wagner pads on my stuff, but I want to possibly upgrade the pads with something...

If you need them earlier, brakes for about $800 plus 2 oil changes, one brake fluid flush and a 60k by the car's Condition Based Service system is covered by the maintenance plan.

This is likely why your lesser used car has more brake wear even "bad habits".....
C clamp, tire iron, car quickly off before the pads work again.
As one brake pad change at a auto shop and then you can do it yourself forever.

So, I saw on the US configuration tool (while it was still online) that the CCB's would be around $8,300. The question is, is BMW NA going to cover both the pads and carbon ceramic rotors under scheduled maintenance? If so, they will be first manufacturer...

I kind of doubt it, considering the cost of the brake with the carbon ceramic brakes that they will be covered under the maintenance plan.
At the track and get them replaced under maintenance.
