Had a ton of spent .223 range pickup brass and needed brass to load for the CZ-52, so I didnt about the same thing.
Of starline brass, but this is just funner to mess with! I've done this in the past.

Guns are not as illegal for 2 for the second .
For the most part brass knuckles and various weapons are illegal.

The brass deflector really sings for its Im using sorted or Lapua ....
Neither one damages the brass.
Rc I have an AR with a brass deflector and one without.
Makes policing up the empty brass pretty fast & easy.

When you trim a piece of fired brass, does the brass come from the base, the neck, or the full length? Is head separation this thinning of the brass? Why would it separate at the thickest part of the brass?

Since the thinner brass near the neck is held tight by pressure to the chamber walls.
Tis is why some cases develop a head separation the entire chamber .
The brass does come from the head area of the case.
