I love eat cold cereal for breakfast....
And it is very tasty! I love cereal, but I usually have it for a snack instead of breakfast.
I don't eat cereal for breakfast, because it doesn't seem to fill me up, but I eat.

What Breakfast cerials can a type 2 have, also is milk a problem ? I usually have Alpro milk,
there seems hardly anything that I can eat,no potatoes,gravy,roast potatoes etc. the list is endless

For breakfast, if you want to try cereal, try either bite size shredded wheat (lots of carbs but almost zero breakfast....
For me, breakfast has been by far the hardest transition.
But minute compared to the cereal.

Hiya
the kids have weetabix or porridge every morning with some cheerios and rice crispies. or for a change toast, muffins etc.
but they are bored senseless of it all.
i want to keep the weetabix/porridge for breakfast but would love to offer them other...

Most cereals....
Mine prefer things like krispies or cornflakes or plain cereals and at that they rarely ask.
In saying that, they are not liked here.
Of the best 'healthy' cereals, although contain sugar the vitamins etc outweigh that.

Im just wondering what are some good cereals to eat and what are some to really avoid... We have some specialK at the house but its has the yogurt bits in it and it has I believe 9grams of sugar... how much is too much sugar in anything Im trying to gain...
