I have long hair because permanently straightening your hair is done with A LOT of chemicals so it will cause your hair to possibly have a drier feel to it It also has to do with the difference in water, shampoo ....

If you use any kind of iron on your hair like a flat iron and curling iron....
Hair Cuttery sells Its A 10 and their mask is amazing and that would be perfect for your hair.
That I would have recommended was a mask or heavy treatment .
