I haven't used gas for years.
The only option that the public have is to stop using gas.
Gas will never be nationalised.

It's not so cheap when you....
The real cost of gas is buried in government subsidies and the cost of the Iraq war.
Small businesses were starting to feel the pinch.
It is better if gas prices are cheaper then what they were a few weeks ago.
The Plastimo thread got me thinking- what boaty bits, not boats, are still made in the UK? Plastimo cookers are built in Birmingham- I recently bought one and it's better built than the Italian one I had before. I don't know if CQR anchors are still made...

The gas engineer who just checked my system over for me recommends Nereus alarms.
My (Plastimo!) gas detector has gone pop and they had stopped making that model.
