Having 2mbps (which is 2 mega bits per second, equivalent to 256 kilo bytes per second) speed does not mean you can download files from Internet at 2mbps always .
Download speed also depends on server which is serving your requests .

Well this should come.
You can get O2 broadband broadband, but it would nice is everyone got it without paying high prices.
The problem that Virgin face is pricing.
And offers better average speeds than BT.
