From the sounds of it you have chronic bronchitis (COPD) rather than acute bronchitis....
Maybe they discuss sickness benefits from a suitable point of view .
To seek out British based groups on the internet regarding bronchitis sufferers..

Mild soap and water is all you really.
Got the T the less I tend to get those bad chest colds / bronchitis attacks.
Been there, done that.
Coughing into the mask due to a bad chest cold / bronchitis is gross.

Bronchitis itself is....
Your DD could end up with a cold but not necessarily bronchitis.
I'm pretty sure bronchitis into bronchitis is contagious however.
If you're on antibiotic after 24 hrs you are no longer contagious

Hope you ....
Long term cough can be a sign of a lot of upper or lower respiratory infections and many of them can turn to pnemonia if left untreated, plus you can catch other infections while your immune system is down .
You should, for sure, see your MD.

Next stop is Pneumonia if you are not....
But without proper medical advice I would strongly suggest no .
It is better to be safe than sorry and I would say not to go out! I would contact you doctor tmrw and see with them on your recommended activity level .
