Sister, with all due respect I think that the western societies, their way of life, and their way of looking at the "other" can rub off on Muslims. I don't deny the existence of racism within Muslim societies Arab and none Arab alike, but I witnessed that such behaviour is more common among Muslims who live in the west. For example, if you speak Arabic and you are black, you will get all these raised eyebrows from Syrians who live in the states for example, while if you do so in Syria it's self you would not get that reaction.
