Pretty much, more agnostic in the sense that is up to every Buddhist to develop.
Therefore, the Buddhist is free to believe in God if they want atheists as well.
Buddha had nothing to say about God.

Out of curiosity any Buddhist people living with type 1 diabetes out there? I have developed a big interest in Buddhist recently and I have found the teachings very useful to my diabetes care.
