Just curious to know if other bassists are into kits and mods. I built my first Heathkit in the early 60's and have done many upgrades and mods to my basses, the usual pickups, onboard preamps, and such. However, I recently got the bug and ordered a BYOC...

Built a bass guitar in high school woodshop, still have it.
Built all the speaker cabinets and equipment cases for a large P.A. system back in the 80's.

I have 5 Hot Wheels downstairs in my workshop right now. I have painted and stripped them about 4 times each. Every time, the paint comes out almost right, but not quite. I'll try to fix it with a brush, but I'm sure you all know how well that works.

However, if you build one of those milled M70 kits on a milled receiver barreled kits ....
Will get your money back and then some on a milled build IF the gun you're building was a milled gun came with milled receivers.
