My wood burning stove has again acquired a coat of dusty rust. In the past, I have hit it with a wire brush and applied stove black. My wife objects to the smell that stove black gives off when... wood cooking stove does that over summer, too. I clean it with salt and some fat,oil. lard, what ever thermal mass.

So... Today we got our wood burning stove installed. Its a clearview one, which was one of the most for the first usage of a wood burning stove? Because I need a new wood stove and although I would say that wood and grass pellet heat is very . So we try to primarily heat with wood, and my fairly new Jotul stove has some problems with the paint have checked that out and are satisfied it is ok I'd just keep burning small, not overly hot, fires
