Subframe bushings installed, and UUC RTABs installed.

Hi all,
Need some pricing advice.
Just had the SRT in for service and they informed me to replace the bushes on the lower control arm as they were split.
They want to charge me $1295!!
Am I being taken for a ride here?

Have you guys fitted any of these yellow poly sport bushes off ebay? I have powerflex on at the moment but one side looks a bit tired so want to replace them.

Ya, I did that once.
Take said bushing and throw it in the trash can, buy a chassis mounted shifter from your favorite supplier and live happily ever after.
Just fill in with RTV.

I am thinking of having my machinist make a bushing for my singing tree rope wrench, in either steel or aluminum bronze. It would work with the removable 5/16" quick release pin and would be machined from 3/4" stock in the form of a sheave with 1/2" inner...

Could the bushing be put on the non removable pin to take up the space? It would seem to have the same effect (taking up the extra space) and you wouldn....
But not sure about the whole sizing thing.
