Uprated Wishbone Bushes My n/s front wheel is a bit 'wobbly'. One of the bushes has gone. The same thing happened last year and I just replace the whole arm.
This time I'm going to uprate the bushes instead so It will hopefully be cheaper, last longer...

After having had all front wishbone bushes renewed, the suspension is squeaking when I go over a bump or turn the steering wheel.
According to the mechanic who fixed them, the bushes are making such a noise.

Has anyone here actually pressed out and refitted new bushes to the front wishbones on a Gti? If you have, how EXACTLY did you do it?
I've know the theory but need to know what sort of kit/sizes was used so I can get it all together for a weekend of bush...

The ones that left the metal in i just put the hacksaw blade inside the hole and cut its a real piece... .
Of the bush on the parts cd, it looks to have a lip on one side preventing the bushes being pressed in too far (the whole bush).
