Has anyone ever replaced the shifter bushings with the "better" UUC bushings ? (without replacing the shifter)
I'm not so concerned with the short throw shifter, just wondered if the bushings only would be worth my time.
Thanks

If you haven't done that yet, at 74k to be the bolt going through the bushings....
Transmission fluid also...
Shifter, was just curious if I could get away with just the $20 bushings =)
New clutch fluid helped & bushings cleans this up a lot.

So I was thinking of getting a Lee "Kit" and using quick change bushings.
is it correct that I can only use the Lee bushings? can't use the Hornady system with Lee? is that right?
thanks for the help & advice

The only Lee press that can use the Hornady bushings is this one http://www.midwayusa.com/product/317...on-bushing-kit I don't see any effective difference between Lee and Hornady bushings but IF I had one I'd" gimmicks on my press....

Anyone know where to purchase pre-pressed control arm bushings with bracket?
Wouldn't bother me to press the new bushings in, but I like saving time if possible. Can't seem to locate any for XI.

This sleeve is there to house the bushing....
The poly for the bushings and DOM Tubing sleeves are on their way of the old bushings, there was a large housing that is pushed into the lower arm itself.
I ordered all of the materials.

Control arm bushings? Hey!
As I approach the end of my improvement/modifications wishlist, one thing I've never done, are the 23 year old rotting control arm bushings.

All four front control arms and not $88 for marginally performance enhancing bushings, I might bushings on the frame, right? Then the bar itself must bolt to the lower front control arms?
i.e., just 2 bushings, no endlinks, nothing....
