The Long nose, and CBB are pretty much a tie .
I would say Yellow pyramid, is the most reef safe .
I have a pair.
Yellow pyramid butterfly.
My opinion long nose butterfly! i've seen quite a few Pyramid Butterflys in reef tanks.

The last week or so there has been a massive bloom of butterflies around my house. I have never noticed this happen here before. Fuckers are everywhere.

If butterflies removal didn't make any difference to me, I'm pretty sure an oval butterfly won't help into the motor!
Better than total removal is replacement with oval shaped butterflies, stock one is sitting they dont drop into....

Cheers don OK first I have to say I've never tried of focus .
Bump your ISO up to 400 these are rough figures let the flash still the butterfly.
The butterflies are in front of the focused area so they're blurry.

This was my first attempt at close up photography. My parents have a Butterfly Bush that lives up to it's name and I took the opportunity last summer to try some close up shots with my 70-200 f/4 that I got a few weeks before.

F4 is good to keep big butterflies like this off the background but will give too narrow DOF for smaller ones.
