I know this is off the wall, but keep your eyes open for an abundance of monarch butterflies
in the next few days. My son and I noticed that everywhere we went yesterday, there were butterflies
carried away somewhere else by the wind.
If you want monarchs, plant butterfly weed aka milkweed

I have wondered about the association of the Monarchs and the eucalyptus trees. I assume
these butterflies have been migrating for a very long time, before the non-native eucalyptus trees were

I bought a type of milkweed for monarch butterflies at a friend's nursery. i've been so busy
Monarchs!
I see adult butterflies at least once each year, but although I carefully allow milkweed
I love monarchs. I haven't seen them since I was a kid though, when we did the whole "caterpillar

This is one of my first attempts at a butterfly. As the subject line says, it's a Monarch
Conservation Area that could best be described as a 'wilderness wetland' and the Monarchs were
the butterfly's major structures are in focus. In this case you lost the entire foreground wing as well
