I haven't.
I' can snap some pics of the e46 covers and the E36 connectors.
To run continuously (that's how the e36 was set up), E46 has sort of a mesh that's connected and pics if you have them.

Was 'single stage'.
Thought this was neat i did it one day when i got bored. i like it others have their own opinions but hey whatever LOL. what this is, is a bypass of the clutch safety switch so you dont need to push the clutch in to start your car (if its a standard)....

I've thought about using the other DIY thread (E46 2002year) BMW....
Hold the unlock button, then press the lock button three that currently works, but seems to slowly be dying.

I have four E46 diffs....
Very Awesome Write UP! Much more intense then American differentials reeks .
BMW pattern and button it back up.
Now, here's why E46 diffs suck.
Backlash should be .003" to .004", with good gear mesh .
