Windows Icons now AutoCAD Buttons
Does anyone have any idea why my icons in my "Select File" Dialogue Box would now be random AutoCAD buttons?

For example, although I have iTunes pinned to the taskbar, when I click it, it opens another iTunes icon for the actual process. Is there a fix?

I can confirm that this still....
I just wonder if you have the Taskbar properties set to Never Combine Combine' .
Try the options including 'NeverUnpin then repin the icon.
Right-click Start Orb, Properties, Taskbar, Taskbar buttons.

With Chrome it's the main google (bar at the top of www.google.com) settings and notifications buttons.
With firefox it's all the gmail buttons.
Running Chrome - but different buttons are blank.

In Windows XP you could collapse the Quick Launch menu (next to the Start button) on the Task Bar so that instead of seeing, for example, 5 icons, you'd just get one of them and a drop down (up?) arrow to access the others via a menu.

Dude, in Win7, when a pinned application is not running, it just appears as an icon on the taskbar, but when its running....
As the quicklaunch buttons in both vista and xp, however in here, those apps are actually just shortcuts to change it.

I use applications in google chrome a lot, so gmail, hootsuite etc all have their own application. I find it fits well with how I like to work. So if I want gmail I tap the windows key type gmail and tap enter. Done.
What I'd like to see is each chrome...

Currently this will affect other programs and how they group on the taskbart and can't be done .
Now icons.
Of the Taskbar and Start Menu dialog that pops up Select Never combine on Taskbar buttons Click OK to save.

Just upgraded. I couldn't find a way to display buttons as icons in the main toolbar (for refresh, stop, home, back etc.) but as text in the bookmarks toolbar. To me this is the only sensible combination, as a whole row of icons from different sites on...

Looks like most like a Windows security ....
Of the start up icons are gone from the lower right hand portion of the taskbar, and there's what looks, Network, Control Panel, and Help and Support tabs all came back to the Start Menu.
