every time i go to super cut to cut my hair they recommend this pricey shampoo ( nioxin) 50$

My friend just went to Ulta to pick up NIOXIN vitamins on sale, and she was told that the reason why they are on sale is because they are getting discontinued . Anyone hear about this?

Nioxin - does it work?
My hair is totally trashed - just removed my hair extensions and they have caused soooo much breakage I'm pretty gutted.
Nioxin has been recommended to me to encourage more hair growth and better condition I just thought I'd see...
