Background. My son is a high school junior being homeschooled in NY. He took an online college class with BYU- Idaho last year(2011).
Question can I deduct the tuition on my federal and/or state taxes?
My hope is that someone has faces this...

So were BYU's "issues" so big that this scheduling nightmare was the more attractive choice to them? I think that there is a reason why BYU cancelled or pushed back.
Maybe we can take advantage of ALL of them.
