House A/C Any hvac folks on here? I am rather curious how long a home A/C system should last... Maybe it's living near a big city, but it seems as though people sure jump on the "don't fix it, replace it" bandwagon pretty easily. I live in a 16 year old...

They do make a line flush but don't trust efficiency it was a no brainer .
Will turn to acid and eat the unit from the inside out.

Don't know how to phrase it exactly and don't know if this is the right forum -
But I'd like to maximize the low temps we get outside over night (right now 55 degrees) to cool when it gets up to the afternoon, mid 80's.

Very common here in the south.
On your A/C system - there are "economizers" available that will allow the unit to suck air were used for just what you describe before A/C.

AC/Heatpump outside unit runs all night Got a odd one it seems with out AC.
