Exporting POI's from a c550 My friend's c550 is about to die. I was wondering if there is a way to export his POI's/addresses? Way to transfer favorites between 2 Garmin c550? We have a Garmin c550, which we like very much. We are getting a 2nd car, and hence we need a 2nd GPS. In the file system, there is a directory gpx that contains a file called current.gpx that has an XML file with all the favorites in it . Got the 2nd GPS unit yesterday and plugged both into the computer . That wasn't so hard.

C550 Where2 firmware Does anyone know how to update the firmware on a garmin c550 where2 back to the original c550 firmware? I did the update and the GUPDATE.GCD file is on the unit, but it won't update. I'm assuming that on the where2 system the file is named something different... C550 skew tray 4 Looking at an C550 and tray 4 skews and sometimes will wrinkle the paper. Tray 3, right beside 4, is fine. The entire tray 4 has been replaced along with all rollers and still skews. Ideas? C550 Streetpilot RGN file needed ( NO satellite ) Anyone have a RGN file for a C550. I have no satellite signal. When I check GPS SW Version it is 0.00 so I think there is some sort of corruption. If anyone knows a fix for this or has a RGN file I would appreciate it very much. Thanks in advance. tux... C550 no satellites I have a c550, isn't picking up any satellites. I tried just 2 strands of wire in the external antenna port, still nothing. thinking my sirf firmware got messed up somehow? either way I was thinking of trying to reflash it, has anybody done this before... I tried updating the firmware but to no avail. When it eventually found satellites, the unit was routing from my home, over two hours away . Mine started doing this three weeks ago.
