I have my first Windows Mobile app ready for deployment (Windows Mobile 6). I have made my CABProject and made a .cab file that will install successfully. How can the .cab be made to delete itself after installation? Some things I read seem to indicate...

CAB files are installed using the wceload utility as kgiannakakis says, but the default....
For more advanced features see CABInstallerSDK.
Deleting the cab is indeed the default behaviour.

I was going to buy an Orange cab, but I ended up running it or have a roadcase built for it.
Just don't get an oversized mesa cab, sometimes less, I'd go with the Mesa.
And I prefer the orange, but the mesa still sounded great .

Thinking 1x12 cabs are better than 2x12 cabs The more I use 2x12's the less I tend to like them. I have a great cabinet so quality isn't the issue, I've tried all kinds of speaker combos as well so please don't suggest options.

I know this does.
Once you want to restore settings, you can clean the registry using OALIoCtlHalGetHiveCleanFlag and then run the CAB to restore the settings.
The tool has a nice feature of Reg->CAB.
