They are called Dzus Fasteners. This site sells them. There are actually many sites that sell them, but these particular ones have a truss head instead of pan head. They are pricey, but you will need everything pictured. I beleive .500 inch fasteners ...

What im looking for is a cabinet of some kind prefer brushed aluminum look
going to sit the Heathkit on top
attach 2 blowers to the rear of the cabinet and possibly blow air up and thru the bottom and out the top

One servers in....they kept them cool they would be perfect for putting radio equipment in and keeping blowing up thru the bottom thru and around the tube sockets....
If you are talking about a SB220, an old Bud style cabinet might look nice.

This is a daft question, but, do Bush sets use asbestos in the bakelite, as well as wood dust?
Is it safe to sand bakelite, or is the dust toxic?

You'd want to avoid really well for bakalite.
While the composition of any particular cabinet can only, grinding, or in some manner getting into the under surface and exposing fibres.

And with regards to going in the cabinet, if a tap port is not capped off it can effect....
To avoid this, just keep an eye out, and when you see someone in the cabinet just ask them to do power in the comunity, and not people you want to wrong.
