I moved my Xbox Original downstairs (I do this all the time) to a different TV, used a HDMI cable (the same one I use upstairs). The image was fine, I did however foolishly change the resolution down to 480p to try and reduce input lag.

Hey all,
I was recently "stung" by DirecTV changing the HDMI output on HBO and thus rendering my Colossus tuner to use the analog inputs. I found a solution....

Like I mentioned, it doesn't do HD Audio like HDMI could, so perhaps....
Perhaps because it doesn't "pass through" HDMI all together.

Switching the HDMI cable has I have a Samsung TV connected....
Pressing Clear button on the remote also gets rid of it of course .
Playing with the TV or changing your HDMI lead or choosing a different port on the TV gets rid of this.
