Surely there must be a way of scrolling with the keyboard through
playlists! By scrolling I don't mean just up and down - you have to be
able to expand and collapse folders to be useful...

With folders,
something can't be a subfolder of two different parent... .
And then
just catalog and play them using iTunes -- but Apple doesn't make it
easy; you still+news@freeshell.org
Smart lists are essentially queries on metadata.
