Okay, finally added my first engine "mod", the CAI brand cai, and here are my thoughts.
I am not a gear-head, and haven't really worked on cars in many, many years. However I am handy at most mechanical things.

I'm about to get a CAI with a 3.5 HFM. Do I need a tune with it or can I just throw it on and call it a day?

And since TRM doesn't tune for headers (that I can see), I could do M50, CAI, HFM ....

Maybe go cai, m50(assuming.
With just a cai, it's borderline not needed/small gains.
Need a tune once.

Just purchased a CAI inc cold air intake and the hose piece that comes with it doesnt fit around the CAI or the the other end of the hose on the car. Anyone else have this happen??

I completely understand that I will not see any gains in power by adding the CAI....
No problem...
There is plenty of evidence that no CAI has any impact on how the cars run or the power they make to be realized by adding a CAI Hi Rob.
