Looking for a cake recipe
I have lost my recipe for a cake that is a Devil's Food cake. It has sour cream and a few drops of red food coloring in it.
It is my MIL's favorite cake and her birthday is Feb 5 and I had planned on making it for her.

It's sort of like Red Velvet Cake but darker with more chocolate....
Is it Red Devil's Food Cake? My mom used to make that.
I use to make this cake all the time so I don't know what I did with the recipe.

After many years of buying from the supermarkets, I have decided to attempt to make a cake. Thought Id start with a sponge cake.

I use this recipe:-
150g tub of plain and lined 8 inch....
I decided to use Nigella Lawson's Fairy Cake recipe - made in the food processor so in it, so i would assume that you could do the same for a cake.
Always sink.

I want to make a simple cake for mother's day that i can serve with mixed berries and fresh whipped cream. Anyone have a good recipe that might use coconut flour? I have never used it but understand it is a good PB option for baking.

Spice cake with the angel food....
Use the Angel food cake (which I'm pretty sure is the key to why this works) the rest is up to you with red food coloring so I'd try it...
