Has anyone ever made the silver palate carrot cake recipe and had it flop? We can't figure out why 1/2 the time it is the best carrot cake ever tasted, and 1/2 the time it comes out raw. We wondered if it has to do with the pineapple.

I wouldn't use cooking cream I'm not passionate about food, just about eating it' If you can only get a "double" cream (45%) then go for thickened cream the cooking cream.
I use the pure cream when making her ganache.
