My leader many years ago had a great recipe for a low point but tasty cake that called for cake mix and diet soda but I am unsure of whatelse I am to put in it. Does anyone know what I am talking about??

1 box cake mix of choice
Mix....
You can also do 3-2-1 cake.
You can also add 2 eggwhites to fluff up the cake if you wish.
cake mix and a can of diet soda..
That's it..

I have some cake mix, some cooking apples and some mixed dried fruit.? If I slice the apples and mix them and dried fruit into the cake mix will it turn out edible? Or is there a better way to use them?

Cake mix help ? It says to add water, vegitable oil, and 3 egg whites...then in smaller font, it said I can add 3 whole eggs too, but I'd have to leave it in the oven for a little longer.
So which one should I do? What will make the cake taste better?...

Egg yolks will make the cake a bit darker (so they're omitted when a purely....
I doubt it says "vegitable" as that's incorrectUnless you have a use for the egg yolks, I'd use the whole egg .

I've read some hints about.
I've baked and torted that cake recipe with no problems, so perhaps it was the Smucker's Jam liquid" into the cake causing it to be too wet? That may cause compression.

List & weigh all the ingredients on here, surley know whats in the cake mix as theres nothing written on the bag and no inserts in the tin.
