Husband wanted a box of red velvet cake mix ..has anyone made one using greek yogurt instead of the oil etc? Suggestions please?

There is a recipe I made with red velvet mix, 10 oz diet coke and 2 egg whites
combine cake mix, diet coke---very moist.

My leader many years ago had a great recipe for a low point but tasty cake that called for cake mix and diet soda but I am unsure of whatelse I am to put in it. Does anyone know what I am talking about??

1 box cake mix of choice
Mix....
You can also do 3-2-1 cake.
You can also add 2 eggwhites to fluff up the cake if you wish.
cake mix and a can of diet soda..
That's it..

I had my heart set (no pun intended) on making my first Red Velvet Cake this Sunday, Valentine's Day.
But I have to work. So I still want to make one when I get home, but from a mix.
Can I just get some sort of chocolate cake mix and add red food coloring...

Suzi, I made the cake mix Red Velvet cake in the link you posted and it came out pretty good! TastedEvery once in awhile you can find a straight-up red velvet mix if you can't I found this....

- white cake mix w/ diet sprite
- Red Velvet w/ Diet Cherry Vanilla 1/2 ounces cake mix
12 ounces Diet Coke
2 egg whites
